uThe Stay Strong V5.1 BMX Race Frame represents the evolution of Stay Strong’s most successful race platform, refined, re-engineered, and pushed further than ever before. Building on the stiffness, proven race geometry, and unmistakable Stay Strong look of the previous generation, the V5.1 delivers even greater performance, strength, and usability.
At the core of the frame is the BB86 TTL (To The Line) bottom bracket, combined with an oversized seat tube, down tube, and bottom bracket junction to maximize stiffness and power transfer. The winning race geometry remains unchanged ensuring explosive starts, predictable handling, and high-speed stability.
The biggest upgrade comes in the form of the bespoke Race DVSN dropout and 5-point dropout system. This innovative design permanently fixes the inserts and disc hanger to the frame, improving stiffness while making wheel and brake adjustments faster and easier. The custom dropout also allows for a taller seat stay, resulting in a stiffer and wider rear end, while rear-access chain tensioners make wheel alignment quick and hassle-free.
Stay Strong dropouts are supplied with 10mm inserts as standard, with an optional 15mm thru-axle kit available for riders running a 15mm rear hub. The V5.1 is the most technically advanced and extensively tested race frame Stay Strong has ever produced, featuring triple and double butted tubing, a tapered head tube, smooth welds, and race-proven construction throughout.
Visually, the V5.1 stands out with exclusive dual-color schemes, upgraded water decals, and hidden details from the “STY STRG CODE” with every frame featuring a clean and fresh look, race-ready finish.
Note: Frames are supplied with a disc hanger suitable for 140mm disc rotors.
